5- Fasting glucose of 100 mg/dL or more

In general , a diet that is low in saturated fats , trans fat , cholesterol and salt, fruits , vegetables , low protein , beans ,And whole grains have been shown to help people with high blood pressure. These meals emphasize "good" fats (such as the monounsaturated fats in olive oil) and a balance of carbohydrates and proteins.

3-Slight weight loss- Obviously , losing weight by exercising is also a by-product of eating well. This in itself is an important goal if you are obese. Weight loss can improve every aspect of metabolic syndrome.

4- Quit Smoking- If you smoke then quit. Although it does not pose a risk of metabolic syndrome, smoking can increase your risk of blood vessel and heart-related diseases.
